As my friends trot off to Attica tonight merely because of free drinks and entry, I snuggle up at home, preparing for a rough day ahead tomorrow, it’s shoot day. Nonetheless, a little bird brought a tweet to me, “I fucking hate Ang Mohs!”. My friend tweeted from Attica. I warned them that they were gonna get breathed on by pasty white dudes holding crossaints.
How glad am I to be home. This blog serves as an answer to spg blogs, you know which I am talking about. Let’s keep Pat out of this equation, her white boy can fry dumplings and is chinese at heart, despite being well… jewish. Moving along. What is it about being in an asian country that makes white guys think they’re the shit? With the insurge of awesome bands coming to Singapore to play us their awesome sets, I was just thinking about who I’d personally love to see them bring. Such excitement of going to a show reminds me of the time that Album Leaf tickets were initially sold out, only to have them open up another show later in the night at 10pm just for starving fans like me who didn’t manage to get the precious Esplanade tickets on time. I remember finding out new tickets were available while at the FCP lab in school, getting a massive heart attack of excitement while I fell down the stairs running to my car to Jurong Point to get them. It was a slow but enraged walk from that bum pain onwards.
So with all the quality acts coming, I ask, WHERE IS THE TRASH!? read more »
The season has come, once again, for the students of a grass-topped school in tropical Singapore to enroll in the next semester’s classes.
In the School of Art, Design & Media (ADM, see fig. 1a, b), this bi-annual ritual is no easy task (see fig. KNN).
