I can’t get enough of Shigeto aka. brooklyn producer Zach Saginaw’s new album, Full Circle. It was released on Nov 9, 2010. Haven’t stopped listening to it since. I’ll skip the dancing about the architecture, just give it a listen, links below.
How is it possible that I am about 3 years late to catch on to the Kaossilator hype, and yet, here is not one good template out there for a grid mod? It’s bizarre, especially when some generous folks out there have already made some video demos of the modding process (linked at page bottom)… Some one’s gotta put a grid out there right now!

So I got to work to create a template that anyone can print out and pop into their Kaosillator for a perfectly mapped grid. Skip to the bottom of the page for the template. (Fear not, the template is sans Hello Kitty. I’m not about to impose anything on you.) Why a grid-mod? So that if you like, you can get specific about which keys you’re hitting.
Dun dun dun… It’s Massive Attack. If not for the interesting music, for the fucking off the chain video by Edouard Salier. Check out his awesome concept art. It’ll make more sense to you once you see the video. Salier tends to do long 360 degree shots, I feel like I’m on some crazy floating camera when I watch his stuff. Intriguing. It’s videos like this that make me love the music even more. Like how I used to feel about Britney Spears videos. Ahem.

With the insurge of awesome bands coming to Singapore to play us their awesome sets, I was just thinking about who I’d personally love to see them bring. Such excitement of going to a show reminds me of the time that Album Leaf tickets were initially sold out, only to have them open up another show later in the night at 10pm just for starving fans like me who didn’t manage to get the precious Esplanade tickets on time. I remember finding out new tickets were available while at the FCP lab in school, getting a massive heart attack of excitement while I fell down the stairs running to my car to Jurong Point to get them. It was a slow but enraged walk from that bum pain onwards.
